On me, when used on its own (no primer), it lasts a good 5-6 hours before the oilies start to creep up (as opposed to 1-2 hours with most my other foundations). I’d say it’s a cross between matte and satin, which by the way, works beautifully with my combination skin (it helps to minimize those T-zone oilies). And the finish looks just like skin, only perfected. It’s not at all cakey or heavy feeling, but instead feels super lightweight and almost barely-there. Once dry, the formula sets to surprisingly natural-looking coverage. With the help of added silica, the formula is blends out effortlessly using the fingers, a brush, or a makeup sponge. The coverage starts off in the light-medium range, and is buildable up to full coverage. Fortunately, it’s not something that seems to hang around long – it almost completely disappears once the formula has dried down. The Photo Focus Foundation has a very paint-like, chemically smell (it sort of reminds me of Revlon’s Colorstay foundation).
