Because of the environment that they have created, I can work at my own level and pace while being encouraged and motivated to give 100%. All of the trainers are very friendly and approachable. Bobby (trainer/owner) is very professional, friendly, and we got right to work on assessing where I am and talking about where I wanted to be fitness/weight wise. Senergy came highly recommend to me, so I thought I would check it out AND I AM SO GLAD I DID! From the first moment I stepped in the door, I felt at ease. Honestly, I have not truly exercised in many years! I was nervous to step out and try something new. The thought of stepping foot into a gym for the first time was really overwhelming and intimidating for me. That particular workout kicked my butt, but I continued to come back, and I'm really glad I did, because I already have more energy and am seeing a transformation in how I look and feel.I encourage everyone to check this place out! You're gonna love the way you feel afterward! In fact, all the trainers here are motivating and keep classes fun and challenging! My fellow gym-mates are also very encouraging and help contribute to this wonderful community by giving you a high-five after completing a workout and, if it's the last class of the day, helping put away the equipment for the next day of nothing but the HIITs.My wife and her sister have been coming here for a while before I decided to try it for myself one Friday morning. I know it's been said in other reviews, but it really is true: the owners Bobby and Stacy are always excited to see you, they workout alongside you, and take a sincere interest in your progress. Not only are the workouts a great challenge for all skill levels, what truly distinguishes this place from the other gyms and personal trainings I've been a part of is the sense that we are all family. Does anyone know of a good gym in the area that's a 10-15 min walk? I am willing to pay more.Īlso, for those who have returned since they reopened last week: what's it like inside? Do they have sanitizing stations? Are member socially apart? Really curious.Senergy Fitness is tucked away in a nondescript shopping center off Old Alabama Connector where it meets Mansell, but once you step inside, it's an entirely new world. The latter is actually the more compelling reason for why I've been a member for years. But the reason I keep it is that 1) the monthly fee is affordable 2) I can walk there from my apt. I had issues with the ventilation even pre-pandemic so I am weary about returning. I agree with everyone that Synergy is barebones and the customer service is lacking. Where was this communication service when COVID hit? Anyway, I called the 1-800 number and they clarified that the I owed 62.69 for my annual fee (normally charged in June, but I guess they decided to "wait" until September) and $36.59 for my monthly expense. I also received a text message with an abbreviated message of the email today. I created an account today - the first time I've ever been able to get my billing info online for Synergy - and looked into my details. Not only that but it claimed my credit card on file was declined so it felt very collection agency even though it's just a third party billing system. Over the weekend I received a notice via email from ABC Financial about an overdue amount of $99.28 for Synergy.
